About Us

I'm Jermaine, the founder of BMORE Wealthy. I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. In my youth, I wasn't taught the importance of financial literacy, saving, staying free from consumer debt, and investing early and often. Once I moved out on my own, I was faced with the reality of making my own money and paying all my own bills. I still didn't understand how bad debt and student loans were, mostly because of how normalized they are in today's society. In 2018, I was working a new higher paying job but still felt suffocated by financial problems. I then discovered Dave Ramsey's book "The Total Money Makeover," which completely changed my mindset about the importance of money and financial literacy.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I watched as so many people worldwide were impacted negatively, many of them facing problems surrounding their finances. I also saw that many people were becoming more aware of their finances and re-evaluating what's important to them and what isn't. I became inspired to share what I had learned, and BMORE Wealthy was born.

 

BMORE Wealthy is my way of sharing my journey and motivation behind being financially literate, freeing myself from debt, investing in my future self and family, and even leaving an inheritance to my children's children. I know others out there share this same passion, and I wanted to curate a collection of apparel that inspires us to stay on that journey even when we feel like giving up.
